In a recently concluded enterprise NAS survey commissioned by ONStor Inc., a leader in Enterprise NAS Gateway solutions, IT professionals indicated that managing growing capacity requirements was the number one challenge in administering a storage environment within their companies -- one of several statistics that sheds light on the increase in organizations turning to NAS gateways and virtualization solutions to solve their storage needs.

82 percent of the 135 IT administrator respondents in the survey conducted by storage industry analyst firm Coughlin Associates said they were concerned with managing growing capacity requirements, while 62 percent agreed that managing multiple file and storage servers was of concern. A comprehensive report on the study will be released by Coughlin Associates in Q4 of 2005.
