Caribbean insurer ENNIA has adopted Guidewire’s predictive analytics software to improve claims and underwriting performance, the companies announced today.

Guidewire’s platform will be implemented in ENNIA’s property line of business, followed by motor and health, according to the vendor. ENNIA currently operates in six Caribbean islands: Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, St. Maarten, Saba, and St. Eustatius. It joins UK insurer NFU Mutual and AF Group as Guidewire’s latest analytics customers.

“Implementing Guidewire Predictive Analytics represents a significant milestone in our company’s long-term business strategy,” said Servaas Houben, head of actuarial, ENNIA, in a statement.”

Chantal Pietersz-Seferina, COO of ENNIA, added,” “We were impressed by the different levels of claims and premium data Guidewire Predictive Analytics will provide us. We will be able to tailor reports for specific audiences, from having graphics for presentations to our board to data analysis and insights for our insurance technicians.”
