October 26, 2009 – Endeca Technologies, Inc. today announced it will integrate new partnerships that will enhance the search functionality of its Endeca Information Access Platform.

Through an agreement with Informatica, Endeca will integrage Informatica’s PowerCenter and PowerExchange with the McKinley release of the Endeca Information Access Platform. According to a statement from Endeca, the combination will provide a complete solution for unifying data and content from various systems and sources.

Also, a partnership with SAP will provide the ability to create data visualizations within search applications. Endeca will integrate Xcelsius dashboards and visualization software and SAP BusinessObjects Intelligent Search with the Endeca platform.

Together these technologies will provide greater visibility across disparate information. Enterprise search arms knowledge workers with the critical enterprise data they need for informed daily decision-making.

As Hitachi Consulting experts Patrick McCollum and Craig Izydor attest in Information Management’s recent cover story, data integration is making strides into merging with other aspects of the enterprise architecture.

Search and data integration technologies together provide a complete solution for unifying data from databases, warehouses, and enterprise business systems with content from product lifecycle management (PLM) and enterprise content management systems.
