DM Review conducts an informal poll each month on The July question was "When do you think the economy will rebound?" 1,093 people responded.

Thirty-One (31) percent of the respondents believe that the economy will turn around within a year, while the remaining 69 percent say it will take much longer than that. In fact, 38 percent of those polled said that they didn’t expect the economy to recover until early 2004.
