September 16, 2008 - The Fuqua School of Business of Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, selected Alterian’s Content Management solution to run and manage the school’sIinternet, intranet and extranet Web sites.

Fuqua will use the enterprise level solution, to deliver a web content management (WCM) platform to its staff.

Established in 1970, Fuqua is ranked among the top U.S. business schools providing MBA and Ph.D. studies as well as executive education and professional certification.

The business school was looking to enhance its public Web site to more effectively communicate the school’s mission - to provide globally focused MBA and executive education programs for business and not-for-profit leaders worldwide.

Fuqua plans to relaunch its public Web site in the coming weeks, with Intranet and extranet features following later this year. Faculty and staff will use Alterian WCM to build, manage and publish dynamic content directly to the site, improving the speed, responsiveness, ease-of-use and quality of content.

“This is an important investment in the school’s communications strategy and fits into a multitiered strategy to help us achieve our goal of providing the highest quality education to produce leaders of consequence,” said Nevin Fouts, Fuqua’s associate dean for information technology. “With its intuitive interface, Alterian Content Management will enable faculty, staff and students to control content more easily and immediately, and we hope that gains achieved with Alterian’s enterprise level solution on the main Web site will be echoed on our intranet and student/course extranets.”
