Does it make a difference in query performance if I write tableA.colx = tableB.colY or the other way round? Is this database specific? Also, why will disabling constraints help while data loading into the data warehouse? We need to check the data for integrity after all, so wouldn't using a procedure be slower than using the constraint to do so? Finally, how do I test the accuracy of my data warehouse?
