DocuLex, a content management software provider, is now offering browser-based subscription-based managed document services. The company’s new release is based on its cloud/Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Web search program and Goby Capture, DocuLex’s automated paper and electronic document capture system.
The company said users will receive a customized portal, and that monthly fees are based on storage volume, a feature DocuLex highlighted as important since productivity of businesses tends to wax and wane.
The product is designed to provide document access, permissions, printing and distribution, enabling secure document warehousing and sharing for practical knowledge management and colleague collaboration. The product can manage scanned paper documents converted to PDF as well as electronic documents in their original formatting.
