Ottawa, Ontario, Nov. 4, 1999 - DMR Consulting Group Inc. announced that the company has been awarded a $1.9 million data warehousing contract from Public Works & Government Services Canada (PWGSC). The contract represents the first and second phases of a $6.1 million project to develop and provide maintenance for PWGSC's real property management data warehouse, which will enable PWGSC to continue to meet high performance targets and increase client satisfaction. The project is expected to take more than three years to complete and includes an option to extend the maintenance and support work for an additional two years.

PWGSC's Real Property Services (RPS) branch is responsible for acquiring, managing, operating, maintaining, building, repairing and disposing of federal properties, which total more than six million square meters of space. The three-phased project will include an assessment of the current data marts, development of target data warehouse models and technology architectures, migration of the current to the target environment, enhancement of the current information content over a number of releases, as well as maintenance and support.
