Brookfield, WI – August 27, 2003 – DM Review, the premier publication for business intelligence, data warehousing and business performance management is pleased to announce that the September issue features three new columnists. All three will be regular contributors to the magazine.

Laura Reeves' column, "Business Dimensional Modeling," will focus primarily on how to gather business requirements, architecture design, dimensional model development and project management. Reeves, who is a coauthor of The Data Warehouse Lifecycle Toolkit and has more than 18 years of experience in the data warehouse industry, is also a regular speaker for TDWI, which is one of the top conferences for data warehousing and business intelligence.

Craig Schiff's column, "Maximize Business Performance," will cut through the hype and misconceptions that surround business performance management (BPM). Schiff will provide a detailed look at the components of BPM and study the best practices, process methodologies and major trends. He has worked with BPM for more than 20 years and was one of the early pioneers in this space as one of the founders of Hyperion Solutions, OutlookSoft and now BPM Partners. A published author and popular speaker, he currently chairs the DCI Performance Management Conference.

Rick Sherman's column, "Data Integration Advisor," will focus on how to approach the topic of data integration by better leveraging data as a strategic asset. Sherman will introduce the Data Integration Framework, a combination of processes, standards, people and tools used to transform enterprise data into information for tactical operations reporting and strategic analysis. A published author and industry speaker, Sherman has more than 17 years of business intelligence and data warehousing experience.

"Given our magazine’s unique model, which includes regular columns provided by industry experts, these columnists will increase the magazine’s scope to benefit our readers," notes Ron Powell, publisher and editorial director of DM Review. "The addition of these columnists adds increasing depth to our provision of mission-critical information for business users and IT professionals. We are very pleased that these experts have chosen to share their knowledge with us."
