Datawatch Corporation, a provider of business intelligence, data transformation and IT support solutions, announced it has added a monthly subscription pricing option for its enterprise applications. In use by a number of Global 2000 companies, government agencies, large financial services firms and healthcare providers around the world, Datawatch enterprise applications offer innovative and cost-efficient Web-based solutions to the business intelligence, service management and help desk support markets.

“Organizations are looking to work with vendors that provide flexible licensing options which meet their business needs and budgetary constraints,” said Robert Hagger, president and CEO of Datawatch. “For our customers and prospects, a new subscription licensing model means they can adjust costs according to growth rates and users’ needs, while dramatically reducing upfront capital costs. For Datawatch, subscription pricing will allow the company to build a strong recurring revenue stream on which to grow the business. We are very excited about the prospects for this new innovation.”

Biblionet Groningen, a library organization made up of 66 localized public libraries serving all the residents in the province Groningen, located in the Netherlands, recently selected Datawatch|ES for its enterprise reporting and data analysis needs. Hans van Dijk, Biblionet Groningen’s head of Information & Communications Technology, said, “The enterprise subscription pricing option was an attractive alternative for our library. It ensured that this area of our IT costs became predictable, and didn't require a large initial payment that would have exceeded our current budget levels. It was yet another positive factor that led us to adopt the Datawatch|ES enterprise reporting system, and enabled us to start using the product right now, without waiting for new budgets.”
