Boston, Mass., Aug. 22, 2000 – DataMirror Corporation, a leading provider of e-business data integration and resiliency solutions, announced that its flagship transformation server products will support Microsoft SQL Server 2000 concurrent with its general availability from Microsoft on September 26, 2000.

As a Microsoft Certified Solution Provider and a member of the Microsoft Data Warehousing Alliance 2000, DataMirror has worked to ensure support for SQL Server 2000. DataMirror has completed a full series of rigorous software compliance tests in-house to ensure that all DataMirror Transformation Server data integration products will be available for SQL Server 2000 immediately upon the release of the new database platform. The SQL Server 2000 Beta is currently deployed on multiple computing systems located at the company's headquarters.

Microsoft SQL Server 2000 is an .NET enterprise server product from Microsoft tailored to rapidly deliver scalable Web-enabled applications for business intelligence, data warehousing and line-of-business (LOB) applications. DataMirror Transformation Server for Microsoft SQL Server will enable SQL Server 2000-based organizations to capture, transform and flow data in real time between multiple heterogeneous systems for business intelligence, e-business and other distributed data applications. Transformation Server supports a broad range of computing platforms and databases including DB2, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server and Sybase across Microsoft Windows NT/2000, UNIX, Linux, IBM OS/400, OS/390 and NUMA-Q.
