Raleigh, N.C., October 27, 2000 – DataFlux Corporation, a SAS company and leader in the development of data quality control tools, has unveiled dfPower Studio 3.4. DataFlux’s data matching, data standardization and data analysis applications allow users to quickly and easily identify duplicate records, normalize inconsistent data, improve the merging capability of data from dissimilar data sources and identify critical data intelligence issues. Some of the new features in version 3.4 include automatic generation of pure SQL (structured query language), added flexibility to augment and customize business logic and capitalization functionality.

Typically, pricing for dfPower Studio 3.4 will range from $20,000 to $100,000 depending on the size and scope of the implementation and on user configuration s. Significant product discounts will be available for a 30-day period (good until November 30, 2000) under a special product launch promotion. Current customers with existing upgrade/maintenance subscriptions will receive dfPower Studio 3.4 as an upgrade at no extra charge.
