DataFlux, a leading provider of data integration and data quality solutions,  announced the newest release of its core technology platform, which delivers a faster, more efficient path to creating a single version of the truth in corporate data for data governance, compliance and master data management (MDM) initiatives. Key features of Version 8 include new DataFlux Accelerators - prebuilt workflows that extend the use of the DataFlux Data Quality Integration Platform - as well as innovative metadata discovery and data monitoring capabilities.

With DataFlux Accelerators, organizations can reduce the time and effort required to achieve the high levels of data quality and data integration required to facilitate key corporate data initiatives. The DataFlux Accelerators are a series of packaged workflows, templates and best practices for the most common data quality and identity management tasks. These pre-built services can be initiated and customized via DataFlux's award-winning dfPower Studio and DataFlux Integration Server environments. The first DataFlux Accelerators encompass customer data quality, product data quality and watch-list compliance.

The Version 8 release also unveils DataFlux dfPower Explorer, a new component within the dfPower Studio suite. dfPower Explorer allows organizations to analyze the metadata within existing applications and data sources. With this technology, business analysts can determine which data sources contain similar records (customer records, product data, etc.), helping an organization quickly determine which data sources should be part of a data quality or data integration effort.

Other enhancements in the Version 8 release include expanded business rules monitoring to provide more customized, streamlined reporting of data that does not meet corporate standards for data quality and data integrity. By monitoring data through customizable rules that control acceptable levels of data integrity, organizations can create more comprehensive data governance strategies - and improve the accuracy of business processes across the enterprise.

The Version 8 release also contains enhancements to the core technology's ability to standardize, parse, match and verify data from an increasing number of countries. With the release, DataFlux increased its international data quality capabilities; DataFlux now supports an increasing array of regions and languages, including Chinese, Japanese and Korean.
