DataDirect Technologies Recognized for Excellence in Customer Support

DataDirect Technologies, a leading provider of components for connecting software to data, has announced that its SupportLink Technical Support Program has been named one of "The Ten Best Web Support Sites of 2004."  Presented by the Association of Support Professionals, this award honors DataDirect Technologies for outstanding online service and support for its data connectivity products that provide the most reliable access to data from virtually any application and platform to all major databases.

The Association of Support Professionals (ASP) is an international membership organization for customer support managers and professionals.  With over 1,100 individual members, the ASP distributes the annual award for the best Web support sites.  Based on a scoring system with 25 separate performance criteria, a panel of experts in Web support design and implementation honored DataDirect Technologies' SupportLink.

"This past year we've worked hard to enhance our online services, dramatically improving search capabilities and install support for new customers," said Carol Esau, senior director of worldwide support for DataDirect Technologies.  "In the next 12 months, we plan to further enhance the program, offering our customers increased personalization and single sign on functionality across our Web site."
