Current Analysis, a provider of competitive response solutions, is introducing targeted analysis covering the small to medium-size enterprise (SME) market into its customer relationship management (CRM) service. The firm is proactively responding to the unprecedented level of competitors in the SME space to help its clients win more business in this rapidly escalating market.
Current Analysis' CRM service will continue to evaluate how CRM vendors should effectively market their offerings to large companies as well. "We are seeing a significant shift in the CRM market," said Kelly Spang Ferguson, principal analyst of CRM at Current Analysis. "Executives at small- and medium-size businesses are now fully represented in the 'mainstream of the bell curve' given the fact that the complexity, expense and risk of deploying CRM solutions have dramatically decreased. As a result, we have witnessed many new entrants into the CRM SME space as well as a dramatic shift for enterprise CRM vendors to target this market with tailored offerings. The reality of escalating competition plays right into Current Analysis' strengths. We help our clients distill and leverage major market developments, such as competitor news and product expansion, to help them close more business."
Current Analysis will immediately add an SME strategy evaluation, including market rating, to all of its Competitor Assessment (CA) Reports. Additionally, it will add an SME Market Assessment (MA). It will also offer more in-depth coverage of the SME applications market, including solution trends, channel strategies, and buying patterns. The benefit for its CRM customers is the ability to stay on top of what competitors are doing and to craft winning responses to competitive threats in the SME market place.
