Core Integration Partners, Inc., a leading provider of services and training in the business intelligence and data integration market segment, announced that it has been acquired by Visionary Integration Professionals, LLC, (VIP) of Folsom, California.
This acquisition comes after VIP hired DecisionPoint International, a boutique investment bank, to conduct diligent research and screening discussions of 168 companies. Although terms of the deal were not disclosed, with Core's current revenue of $12 million and a staff of more than 50 employees, the acquisition will bring VIP's 2006 projected results to nearly $60 million and a staff base of 300.
Founded in 1999 by Ana Quintana and Julie Burroughs, Core Integration is an end-to-end solution provider offering a wide range of consulting capabilities focused on solving data problems and offering insight into information that is required to make sound business decisions.

As leaders within the business intelligence and data warehouse (BI/DW) market segment, Core believes enablement is the key to long-term success. As such, Core offers a full curriculum as part of Core College that focuses on helping its customers to become proficient and self-sufficient. Core's customer base consists of Fortune 500 companies within a variety of industries including financial services, insurance, pharmaceuticals, and telecommunications spanning Denver, Dallas, the California Bay Area, Atlanta and Boston.

Building upon VIP's acquisition of Cornerstone Consulting in the latter part of 2005, Core will bring VIP expanded capabilities, strengthened partner relationships with BI/DW product vendors, and stronger presence in the Bay Area, Colorado, and Dallas.
