As brick-and-mortar retailers prepare for what they anticipate to be a lackluster holiday sales season, e-commerce experts are expecting a continuation in the growing popularity of online shopping.
"Were expecting $11 billion in online sales, which is a 10 percent increase over online sales last year during the same period," said Carrie Johnson, an analyst with Forrester Research. Forrester estimates that 6 million new households will buy online this year.
