Islandia, New York-based Computer Associates is establishing five new operating units based on the company’s brands as part of an internal reorganization, resulting in no workforce reductions. Each unit will contain development, product marketing, product support, quality assurance and field development teams. "By organizing along our existing brands, we will provide more clarity and focus to our customers while maximizing shareholder value," says CA President and CEO Sanjay Kumar.

The five brand units are Unicenter for enterprise management, eTrust for security management, BrightStor for storage management, Advantage for mainframe technology and data management, and CleverPath and AllFusion for portal, business intelligence and life cycle management.
