ValueClick, Inc.'s Commission Junction, a provider of advanced online performance marketing solutions, announced recently that it has formed a strategic alliance with Coremetrics, a leading provider of hosted Web analytics solutions, to offer their joint clients a fully integrated solution for managing and measuring the performance of their online marketing programs.
Under the terms of the agreement, Coremetrics will track and measure the performance of Commission Junction's marketing programs through Coremetrics' Marketing Management Center (MMC), an online marketing solution that presents a ROI analysis of all marketing campaigns in a single interface. This alliance offers Commission Junction and Coremetrics' joint clients a consolidated view of all of their performance-based marketing programs.
According to the June 2004 Forrester Research report, "What Matters to Web Site Analytics Users," Web analytics packages have shifted from being reporters of traffic to being an integral and essential part of marketing operations. Integrated data collection through alliances such as that between Commission Junction and Coremetrics, along with customized reporting capabilities, are making it easier for marketers to adjust the performance and optimize the spend of their multichannel marketing campaigns.
