Sand Technology is creating a separate group to focus on the delivery of high-performance customer intelligence solutions to the rapidly growing analytic customer relationship management (CRM) market. Sand Technology will continue to concentrate its corporate efforts on the development and marketing of its analytic application platform, the Sand Analytic Server, while a new group, to be called ClarityBlue, will focus on customer intelligence systems integration and solutions.
The strategic decision to create the solutions and applications group and adopt the ClarityBlue name came after the company’s success over recent years in developing specific CRM analytics and customer-centric data warehousing models for some of the U.K.’s major telecommunications companies, Internet service providers and financial services providers.
Duncan Painter, the recently named president of the ClarityBlue Group, will oversee the group's worldwide operations from headquarters in St. Albans, U.K.
