Core Integration Partners Inc., a leading provider of data warehousing solutions for Fortune 1000 businesses and a leader in industry education, is now offering courses in partnership with Bill Inmon that will lead to certification in his Corporate Information Factory (CIF) and Government Information Factory (GIF) for data warehousing.

Inmon, known throughout information technology circles as the father of data warehousing, was a pioneer in detailing the architecture needed for a successful Corporate Information Factory to help IT professionals connect their legacy systems to a data warehouse.

"I have been asked for years to provide classes and certification in my Corporate Information Factory, and we now have the means to do that through our highly knowledgeable and experienced partners at Core Integration," said Inmon.

The original edition of The Corporate Information Factory was published in 1993 and expanded in 2001 to show how to accommodate many new technologies. It is widely used throughout the IT industry. Inmon's Government Information Factory is a framework for how information systems need to be built in Washington, D.C., for managing data across multiple government agencies with an emphasis on security. That framework was started on Sept. 15, 2001, and inspired by events of 9/11.

Certification in GIF and CIF will be provided through Core Integration's Core College in Denver.
