LAVA On Demand is available in two subscription-based options: a managed service, where BI data remains entirely within the company's firewall; and as a hosted service, hosted by Celequest.

LAVA Managed Service is the first SaaS offering in the BI industry that enables companies to enjoy the benefits of managed software while ensuring that data remains secure. In this model, Celequest remotely manages a dedicated LAVA appliance housed inside a customer's firewall, avoiding the pitfalls of data security and remote data integration. This is made possible by the new LAVA Remote Service Manager, which handles upgrades, patches, software and hardware monitoring - as well as troubleshooting and recovery. No data is ever transmitted outside the company's firewall.

LAVA Hosted Service provides a 100 percent hosted solution at an even lower initial cost. This model is ideal for organizations with few IT resources, as it requires no IT involvement and no hardware or software need be installed internally. It also works best when there are only one or two data sources - or when application data is already hosted outside the company, such as on salesforce.com.
