Charlotte Radiology Launches HL7 Messaging Hub

  Charlotte Radiology has gone live with an enterprise-scale HL7 messaging hub built on the InterSystems Ensemble rapid integration and development platform. The new hub will integrate data feeds from hospitals and clinics throughout the Carolinas. 
"We had been looking at other HL7 hubs when Ensemble came into the picture," said John Frazer, IT Development Team Lead. "The big problem with any type of health care integration initiative is the lack of standardization in HL7 messaging," he continued. "Not everyone uses HL7 the same way and incoming and outgoing messages typically must be translated…Ensemble does that very well."

LogiCamms Limited, one of Australia’s national electrical engineering and control systems companies, will deploy the myDIALS on-demand performance improvement platform.

Nigeria Chooses Dyn Inc. to Manage Country Code


The country of Nigeria picked Dynamic Network Services Inc. to help relaunch and manage its Country Code Top Level Domain (ccTLD). This move marks a significant step forward in increasing service, security and reliability for the growing Web and Internet infrastructure of Nigeria.
“Nigeria’s technological infrastructure is evolving rapidly to meet the demands of a growing economy and we saw that having greater control and security of our country code top level domain was vital to our growth,” said Ndukwe Kalu, president of the Nigeria Internet Registration Association. “In order to position the .ng registry to spearhead the expected IT revolution, we needed partners that provided top-level service and stability along with the ability to develop with us and we believe we have found a partner in Dyn Inc.”
