HighPoint to Develop Solution for Pharmaceutical Company

 

HighPoint Solutions LLC, a provider of business-driven IT solutions, announced that it was selected by one of the top three pharmaceutical companies in the world to develop a contract analytics reporting and scorecard solution.

 

This project will provide the pharmaceutical leader with enhanced analysis tools, reports, scorecards and dashboards, resulting in a complete view of its customers and related contract proposals, according to HighPoint Solutions.
  
To support this business objective, HighPoint Solutions will integrate the pharmaceutical leader's contract analytics and proposal system and systematic performance management systems. The new solution will maintain the consistency and standardization of information as a foundation for all reports, integrate and structure information to enable greater decision-support capacity and increase effectiveness and efficiency in access critical information.

 

BakBone Simplifies VMware for The Latin School of Chicago

 

The Latin School of Chicago selected BakBone Software to provided VMware and heterogeneous data protection solutions.

 

An independent, coeducational day school located, The Latin School of Chicago utilizes technology to support efficient, reliable operation of the school and provide tools that enhance both internal and external communications.

"We needed a dependable backup solution that could support Linux, Windows and Mac OS that complemented our current backup process and could scale to meet our school's growing demands. Investor Analytics Chooses the JMSL Numerical Libraries

 

Investor Analytics, LLC,  selected the Visual Numerics, JMSL Library to support their next generation of financial risk analytics.

 

“We were looking for a numerical toolkit that included optimization and other functions that we could quickly and easily embed into our offering. We also wanted a native Java-based solution to ensure easy integration with our development environment and future growth plans,” said Adam Winik, director of financial engineering at Investor Analytics. “The JMSL Library met all our needs.”

 

Through a software as a service model, Investor Analytics provides customers with analysis and reporting capabilities that enable them to identify and analyze risks in their portfolios. Functions from the JMSL Library will be added to their platform to give customers additional interactive analytical capabilities.

 

HEMIC chooses Valen Technologies

 

Hawaii Employers’ Mutual Insurance Company (HEMIC) selected Valen Technologies’ UnderRight predictive analytics solution.

 

Valen’s UnderRight solution is being implemented to provide additional rigor, insight and precision for HEMIC’s workers’ compensation underwriting process.

 

“The combination of Valen’s data, experience and product made for a very compelling value proposition. We were impressed with Valen’s predictive analytics solutions, but their knowledge of the workers compensation underwriting process and their experience developing predictive models were also very attractive to us,” said Bob Dove, HEMIC’s CEO. “We believe that predictive modeling will provide us a competitive edge in this tough market. Being able to segment and closely analyze our business will enable us to credit aggressively and accurately on an account-by-account basis.”

 

Virgin Media Implements CheckFree Solution

 

Virgin Media successfully implemented CheckFree’s Reconciliation and Exception Management solution to automate the reconciliation of customer revenue related accounts.

 

By consolidating its legacy reconciliation programs into a single enhanced platform, Virgin Media streamlined its transaction matching, reporting and performance management processes, while improving the efficiency of its operations. By automating its reconciliation system through CheckFree, Virgin Media reduced the time required to complete the month-end close process.

 

“Moving to CheckFree’s single automated reconciliation platform has provided us with greater visibility into our operations, allowing us to closely monitor the status of our accounts, improve process efficiency, provide support and training where required and reduce the likelihood of operational error,” said Beverley Booth, head of finance and payroll services at Virgin Media.
