Canadian insurer Alberta Motor Association (AMA) has selected Guidewire Software’s DataHub and InfoCenter to support its commercial and personal lines of business, the companies announced today.

The vendor’s data and digital products will help expedite AMA’s current analytics strategies and complement the insurer’s recent deployment of Guidewire InsuranceSuite, according to the companies. AMA also selected Guidewire’s quote and customer portal platforms as part of the deal.

“We wanted a tightly integrated and configurable suite of products to improve operational effectiveness through a client-centric view of policyholder information,” said Collin Moody, vice president and chief information officer, AMA, in a statement. “We are impressed with the progress and direction of Guidewire’s data and digital products.”

Software rollout began with AMA’s personal auto and property lines, with commercial lines to follow later this year. The insurer joins ENNIA, HEMIC and workers' compensation insurer SAIF Corporation as Guidewire’s latest customers.
