Q:

Can data mining be implemented if there is only data for 2,000 customers?

A:

Adrienne Tannebaum's Answer: Sure, why not? Granted, if 2,000 records exist in one place and can be analyzed in many different ways with spreadsheets or other simple reporting products, then setting up a full "data mining architecture" with vendor products and a designed data warehouse may not have a positive cost/benefit. But assuming that you have many more than 2,000 records (like all of their purchases, payments, etc.) and lots of data sources and that you plan on having more customers, the time to think about data mining may be now!
