The Business Objects and HP solution provides monitoring of tailored metrics presented in an intuitive and flexible dashboard that lets users drill down into problem areas for root cause analysis, receive real-time alerts when processes exceed set tolerance thresholds, and gain visibility into the business impact of delays and manual interventions. For example, a mobile operator can use the solution to monitor how well the various steps in the automated activation process are going and receive alerts if the process is failing or getting delayed in some steps.
