Brio Software has secured $14.3 million in new working capital through the private placement of just under six thousand shares of common stock. Brio, which develops business intelligence software, will use the infusion for working capital and general corporate purposes. "In addition to the cash we have on hand, this incremental equity capital will allow us to strengthen our balance sheet and provide working capital for future growth," says Brio CEO Craig Brennan.
