With this expansion, AppDynamics’ Application Intelligence Platform enables businesses to optimize performance of their mobile applications with end-to-end visibility.
Attunity Ltd., a provider of information availability software solutions, announced the release of Attunity Maestro, a big data management platform designed to help organizations automate the complex process of composing, conducting and monitoring information flow across the entire global enterprise. The solution is expected to enable organizations to increase business productivity by empowering them to design and monitor large big data transfer processes using its unified control platform.
Birst, a provider of Cloud BI, announced that Birst Visualizer is now generally available to all customers. The solution enables business users to create, consume, and share data through visually compelling charts and graphs.
ElasticHosts, a cloud server provider, announced the launch of its new Elastic Containers, which the company says are the first cloud servers to be billed based purely on consumption, rather than capacity, delivering substantial cost savings. ElasticHosts’ auto-scaling container technology elastically expands and contracts to meet customer demands, entirely eliminating the need for manual provisioning.
Extreme Networks, Inc. announced a software-defined architecture for the Experience Economy, delivering simple, fast and smart network solutions extending from the mobile campus to the data center. The new solution is comprised of unified software and high performance hardware offerings. Software includes centralized management, application analytics, and SDN.
InfiniDB, a provider of high-performance analytic data platforms, released its new version of its fourth generation columnar data platform. The InfiniDB updates and enhancements are aimed at higher query performance, faster data loading for HDFS, expanding the scope of its Apache Sqoop integration and ETL support, and enabling better distributed data access for third-party tools.
Altosoft, a Kofax company and developer of business intelligence and analytics software, introduced Altosoft Insight 5.0. Insight 5.0 delivers significant new capabilities, including a distributed in-memory architecture, continuous simulation and governed data discovery. It gives organizations the ability to rapidly assemble, analyze and visualize large amounts of complex data to improve decision-making, operational effectiveness and profitability.
MapR Technologies, Inc., provider of the a distribution for Apache Hadoop, announced the addition of the complete Apache Spark technology stack to the MapR Distribution. The Spark in-memory processing framework provides speed, programming ease, and real-time processing advantages.
Mendix, an enterprise app platform as a service company, announced the launch of the Mendix AppCloud. The AppCloud is a new service layer that sits on top of the Mendix App Platform, bringing together data, end users, business analysts, developers and ISV partners in a single cloud environment and fundamentally changing the way modern business apps are built, shared and consumed.
Oracle announced the release of Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) System 18.104.22.168.5. The latest release features two new mobile capabilities designed to help organizations capitalize on Oracle’s enterprise planning, reporting and financial close applications on-the-go: the first is a new mobile app, Oracle EPM Mobile, and the second capability provides business users with easy access to the rich functionality of Hyperion Planning from tablet devices. Oracle also announced enhancements to Oracle Identity Management 11g Release 2.
Perceptive Software announced the launch of Perceptive Content 7. Signiant, a provider of intelligent file movement, announced a significant extension of the company’s cloud portfolio with the introduction of Signiant SkyDrop a commercially available hybrid SaaS solution that accelerates the movement of big data and professional media files into and out of Amazon S3 and Microsoft Azure cloud storage.
Teradata announced QueryGrid, which gives users seamless, self-service access to data and analytic processing across different systems from within a single Teradata Database or Teradata Aster Database query. Teradata QueryGrid uses analytic engines and file systems to concentrate their power on accessing and analyzing data without special tools or IT intervention, and it minimizes data movement and duplication by processing data where it resides.
