ASG, an enterprise software provider to Global 5000 companies, today announced it has sealed a deal to acquire Diversified Software Systems, Inc., (DSSI) a leading provider of JCL automation software products and services based in Morgan Hill, California. The terms of the deal are undisclosed and will be completed by the end of June.

Diversified Software, a privately held company founded in 1978, focuses on automation solutions targeting mainframe operations for data centers throughout the world. The company has ten offices in the United States, Europe, and the Pacific Rim, as well as worldwide distribution partners, resulting in a strong customer presence in more than 30 countries.

ASG will integrate Diversified Software products and services into ASG's OpsCentral solution platform that focuses exclusively on providing operations management solutions for the streamlined, reliable delivery of production workloads.

More than 1,000 of the top 2,000 data centers worldwide already rely on one or more of Diversified Software's products."

Diversified Software's founder and Chief Technology Officer, Lowell Sando, said he started the company with a vision to provide data centers with products and services that help achieve error-free and well-documented production environments.
