Menlo Park, Calif. and Westboror, Mass., April 25, 2000 – Informix Corporation, a leader in software infrastructure for the i-economy, announced it has joined EMC Corporation's E-Infostructure Developers Program and is integrating its Ardent DataStage software with EMC Enterprise Storage systems and software to provide real-time data movement over disparate platforms including mainframe, UNIX and Windows NT. Ardent DataStage and EMC's InfoMover will be integrated to provide end-users with a faster, more efficient means of data warehouse creation and maintenance with less impact on network resources.

"By offering a solution integrated with EMC Enterprise Storage systems, software and networks, Informix is providing its customers with a solution that allows them to move vital business and operational information in the most efficient manner, while freeing up valuable resources," said Linda Wright, director of EMC's E-Infostructure Developers Program. "This developers alliance, and the integration of Ardent DataStage and EMC InfoMover, will provide our mutual customers with a tool enabling them to save time and money while maximizing the use of their information and IT resources."
