arcplan, Inc., a business intelligence (BI) software provider, announced its second round of executive promotions and appointments this year as part of an effort to augment arcplan’s executive team in the Americas, facilitating its transition to a complete solutions company.

Former arcplan account executive James Burke is appointed to the position of vice president of Business Development and Joseph Kopetsky, arcplan vice president of Channels & Development, is named to the new position of vice president of Strategic Programs, effective July 14. Sally Ting, arcplan manager of Marcom & Events, is promoted to the role of director of Marketing, effective immediately.

The appointments signify arcplan’s renewed commitment to grow and enhance its indirect channel relationships and execute a new OEM initiative fundamental to its new solutions strategy.

Burke’s first task is to implement arcplan’s new Indirect Channels and OEM initiatives.

“I’m excited to be coming back to arcplan, and enthusiastic about the opportunity to play a significant role in its future success,” said Burke. “The opportunity now exists to enlist the support, and vertical and functional domain expertise of our skilled partners to satisfy the broader market demand for pre-built analytic and rich template solutions using dynaSight. In addition, we’ll be looking to build strong reseller relationships north and south of the border to serve those markets our direct sales force can’t effectively reach. Even with a better mouse trap, you still need skilled friends at your side.”
