arcplan Information Services AG, a world-leading analytic platform provider, and Applix, Inc., a global provider of business intelligence (BI) and business performance management (BPM) software solutions, have formalized and strengthened a five-year relationship to provide leading, complementary OLAP technologies to clients across the globe.

The complimentary technologies, arcplan dynaSight analytic platform and Applix's TM1 planning and budgeting software, have been combined by some of the world's leading enterprises to create custom business intelligence (BI) solutions advancing planning and budgeting, forecasting, the success of marketing campaigns and compliance with regulatory mandates.

With the cooperative partnership, clients gain the ability to quickly build a custom arcplan dynaSight front-end application, which enhances the consolidation and visualization of multisource data, on top of Applix TM1, a top performer for query and data load/calculation times, without integration or communication hassles.

"We share a long and growing list of clients with Applix throughout the world, so we are excited to be formalizing this relationship," Jim Burke, arcplan's VP of Business Development, said. "TM1 interfaces seamlessly with dynaSight and offers our clients speed and agility for building multidimensional analyses without the hassle, hardware, or technical consulting needed with many other products. dynaSight and TM1 share some of the quickest implementation times on the market, which means businesses coupling our products attain their goals and reap ROI that much faster as well."

"With renewed focus on our proven TM1 software – the core of Applix's BI and BPM solutions - our relationship with arcplan has become that much more valuable to us," David Menninger, vice president, Applix worldwide marketing, said. "Historically, dynaSight has been one of the most popular front ends for TM1, providing graphically pleasing visualization of data in addition to dash- boarding and front-end development opportunities."
