Unilog, the European, independent service provider for information technology, and Applix, Inc., a global provider of business intelligence (BI) and business performance management (BPM) software solutions recently announced their new partnership. Together with Sun Microsystems, specialist for network computing, the three partners represent a cooperative service offering initially focused on the German-speaking market.

The cooperation between Unilog, Applix, and Sun concentrates on the strengths of each provider in order to offer "best-of-breed" solutions for planning and analysis: Applix as a leading provider of high quality TM1-based BI and BPM solutions, Sun as a provider of electronic data processing technology, and Unilog as a supplier for project management.  The triad's offer addresses the needs of many groups and larger organizations.

"With the help of our new partners, we want to bundle our expertise in business intelligence with our comprehensive experience in systems integration," said Eric Guyot, CEO, Unilog Systems Integration GmbH.

"The new partnership with Unilog and Sun is another indicator that Applix is successfully delivering on its partner strategy," said Hans-Georg Schieb, managing director, Applix GmbH. "Unilog as a well known service provider and Sun Microsystems as a worldwide market leader within the 64-bit environment perfectly match our product portfolio. Now, we are able to offer existing and potential customers planning and analytics solutions covering not only consulting services but also IT infrastructure."
