Westboro Mass., October 31, 2000 – Applix, Inc., a provider of e-business solutions, announced that Alleon, a financial information management company, will offer integration and consulting services for Applix’s Internet-based, real-time, multidimensional business planning (iPlanning) solution based on the iTM1 technology for online analytical processing (OLAP). The combined solution will be offered to government and large commercial clients throughout North America and will deliver continuously optimized financial and resource planning.

As a result, customers using the Applix/Alleon solution will have access to large volumes of information about customers and financial performance that will allow companies to dramatically shorten budgeting and planning cycles, increase profitability and optimize customer service.
