Naples, Fla., Jan. 6, 2000 – Allen Systems Group, Inc. (ASG), a large provider of Enterprise Productivity Software (EPS), announced that it has completed the acquisition of SISRO of Saint-Cloud Cedex, France and that SISRO has merged into ASG. SISRO is recognized as a world leader in conversion software of VSE to MVS and a leading provider of computer automation software for centralized and distributed environments. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition of SISRO is one of several steps in ASG's strategic acquisition plan to offer a complete enterprise solution. Recently, ASG acquired mainframe management tools divested with CA's purchase of Platinum Technologies Inc. The U.S. Justice Department awarded purchase and marketing rights to ASG of products formerly known as Zeke, LifeCycle Manager, AutoAction, AutoRerun and AutoMedia.

“With the addition of SISRO's automated data processing products to our formidable enterprise offering, combined with our high customer satisfaction rating, we will increasingly provide the very best of comprehensive mainframe solutions,” said Art Allen, president and CEO of ASG.

“ASG's global reach will allow Cortex and JobServe software suites to reach all corners of the globe,” said Jean-Louis Philippe, chairman and CEO of SISRO. “We have always been fully committed to customer service. ASG's 96 percent customer satisfaction rate was enough to convince us that this acquisition will benefit our customers tremendously.”
