July 19, 2011 – Just more than a month after it was purchased by Compuware, dynaTrace has rolled out data monitoring and use enhancements to its flagship application performance management platform.
The revamped platform is built on a new generation of its PurePath Technology for application oversight. dynaTrace 4 includes tracking for transactions across the database, enhanced analytics and incident management capabilities, and zero-configuration and auto-discovery at runtime, according to a news release. Those enhancements, aimed at depth and breadth of APM, are meant as a complimentary, integrated platform for Compuware’s traditional infrastructure monitoring offerings, particularly its Gomez platform, says John Van Siclen, president of the new dynaTrace subsidiary and that company’s CEO prior to the acquisition.
