ADP, a global provider of human capital management services, announced the launch of ADP Recruiting Management, a platform designed to help companies better manage the end-to-end talent acquisition process by engaging social and mobile users, enabling intelligent sourcing of candidates, and increasing collaboration.
ADP says the new offering provides organizations and job applicants with tools aligned with today's changing recruitment landscape, including mobile and social media capabilities. The platform aims to help organizations source, attract and manage talent throughout the acquisition lifecycle.
"Recruiters today typically work with multiple vendors to source and interact with active and passive candidates, screen and assess their suitability, and move them through the hiring and onboarding process," Tony Marzulli, vice president of product management at ADP Talent Management Solutions, said in a statement. "This frustrating hodge-podge of solutions from different vendors can yield less-than-ideal results.”
Using ADP Recruiting Management, companies can expand their pools of passive and active talent by opening their recruiting process to mobile users and tapping into major social media networks, Marzulli said.
One company using the new platform is Direct General Corp., a financial services holding company with 1,800 employees across 420 offices in 13 states. "Working with our former vendor was challenging, and we found our [human resources] managers were spending 90 percent of their time troubleshooting the system versus sourcing, working with candidates, and filling jobs," Bill Smith, senior vice president of human resources at Direct General, said in a statement.
"We knew that our next-generation system needed to support both our corporate and field hiring processes to benefit the company, and embrace mobile technology and social networks to attract top candidates," Smith said. Direct General deployed ADP Recruiting Management to help bring a more modern and connected approach to its management of the end-to-end recruiting process.
