Adobe Systems released Adobe LiveCycle Enterprise Suite 4, a document platform for capturing data, protecting sensitive information and delivering personalized communications. LiveCycle ES4 enables organizations to extend forms processes on mobile devices and, through integration with Adobe Experience Manager, to connect forms and document processes to websites. Adobe Experience Manager allows users to optimize their content across digital channels, including mobile and social media.
Features of LiveCycle ES4 include mobile forms support (users can render forms to HTML5, PDF and paper from one template, extending self-service options to users on mobile devices); a mobile workspace application that enables access to forms and associated data for workers in the field; and forms management capabilities that allow users to streamline the process of updating, retiring and managing thousands of forms.
“The new release has innovations that make it easier to create, manage, and publish large numbers of forms on websites. But the biggest news is how mobile clients and workers can now actively participate in business processes, improving engagement and productivity,” states Adobe’s LiveCycle blog.
Companies can integrate LiveCycle ES4 with Adobe Experience Manager to rapidly publish documents and enterprise forms on websites, Adobe says. They can protect sensitive information across devices by extending rights-managed documents to mobile users with the free Adobe Reader Mobile application. Authorized users can also search rights management-protected documents in Microsoft SharePoint.
