The course provides online, self-paced instruction on demand.  Actuate has paired with COMPUEXCEL Consulting & Software Inc. to bring this e-learning offering to market.The course, available now, boasts Actuate's comprehensive, thoroughly tested curriculum and enables students to work hands-on with Actuate software rather than in a simulated environment.  Students can review lessons at their own pace and choose their own path through course material, concentrating on lessons that are most relevant to their particular situation.

The foundation course introduces report object concepts and Actuate design tools such as the report wizard, design perspective, Query Editor, and Textual Query Editor. Students learn to design and build reports, customize page layouts, and use parallel and sequential report sections to display data from one or more data sources.
