William Marcial
William “Bill” Marcial is a Governance Architect for XTIVIA. He creatively solves complex problems by optimizing the use of data and technology to enable business growth, process simplification, and innovation. With 20+ years of blended IT & business experience, Bill has led high-performing teams to execute with excellence and deliver measurable results in fast-paced, regulated environments.
Prior to XTIVIA, Bill spent 27 years in various leadership roles at the General Electric Company (20 years with GE Capital and 7 years with GE affiliate businesses). During his tenure at GE, Bill led countless efforts in digital transformation, IT operations, configuration management, data management, IT outsourcing and technology strategy. He has also worked at Logica, Teledyne Brown Engineering, and Oxford Health Plans where he led its Medicare, Medicaid, and Oxford Health Centers IT operations.
Bill has a BS from Stony Brook University and an MS in Computer Science from Iona College. He was the community leader for the GE Hispanic Forum Fairfield County Hub, served on the GE Elfun board, and has been recognized by El Diario La Pensa as a Distinguished Hispanic Leader. Bill was also one of the inventors on two United States patents (U.S. Patent # 7340421 - Account Reconciliation Method and System and U.S. Patent # 6873972 - Systems and Methods for Credit Line Monitoring). In his free time, Bill enjoys swimming and is an avid baseball and soccer fan.
