Teradata and IBM Netezza compared

This paper addresses the savings expected to accrue when constructing and maintaining a data warehouse with IBM Netezza as compared to Teradata, and shows how these savings significantly impact the TCO of the project. These savings come in many forms, from less time and effort spent on up and running tasks (installation and initial tuning) to less effort required to keep the system performing well over time as applications, users and/or data are added.
