Assessing the Data Governance Readiness of Leading Systems Integrators
Web Seminar Center
Available On-Demand
Date Held: July 29, 2009
Data governance (DG) is vital to the success of MDM projects both initially and ongoing. During 2009-10, Global 5000 enterprises will increasingly mandate that 'no MDM program be funded without the pre-requisite DG framework.' Moreover, the market-leading vendors will come to market in late 2009 with their own active DG frameworks to take back the lucrative DG business that is currently defaulting to systems integrators. The corollary is that few MDM vendors will be able to market their solutions without an integrated active DG capability one that embeds a workflow engine with metadata support for both structured and unstructured information. Where will that leave the SIs as partners, competitors or both?
Aaron Zornes will provide answers and insights into the above issues via market-driven data from his research firm's latest MDM MarketPluse report, MDM and Data Governance 2009-10: 'Readiness Assessment' of Key Systems Integrators & Consultancies.
The goal of this workshop web seminar is to provide IT and business management with guidance regarding:
- Why SI assistance is vital to the economic and practical success of DG programs
- How to evaluate SIs and consultancies for this key capability
- How to manage the relationship
- Who the leading SIs and consultancies are by industry, MDM platform and geography
- What are the key future trends that will impact this critical market
