Applix, Inc. introduced Applix 9.1, which enhances performance management across the enterprise for improved operational visibility and greater agility in the market. New features of Applix 9.1 enable businesses to perform reporting from the Web, configure planning applications and create their own custom dashboards and scorecards - all while taking advantage of Applix's strengths in rapid deployment, ease-of-use and rapid query response benefits. With Applix 9.1, Applix's self-service Executive Viewer provides enhanced support for accessing Applix databases. When designing their Web-based reports, Executive Viewer users have one-click access to dynamically maintained sets of data. This release also provides for contextual drill through access from Executive Viewer reports to related SQL data sources.

Data Apples Corporation announced the release of its ReverseConnect technology. ReverseConnect Professional offers service providers the ability to send out a support invitation directly from Beyond Remote to a remote user. When the user clicks on the embedded link, they initiate a support session and the service provider can take control of their computer in a matter of seconds. While other popular remote support packages offer Web site-based remote support solutions, Beyond Remote runs as an application on the user's computer. The program leverages Data Apples' Web services to offer support professionals a direct connection to the remote user's computer in seconds, without backhauling any data. The result of this approach to infrastructure is increased performance and lower prices for service providers.

Fair Isaac Corporation announced the availability of its new State Compliance Decision Manager solution. The solution is designed to help pharmaceutical firms meet regulatory compliance demands through more effective reporting and managing of multiple types of promotional spending across an organization. With State Compliance Decision Manager solution, pharmaceutical firms can now provide states with more comprehensive and accurate information on commercial or "aggregate" spend associated with health care professionals and organizations. The solution is powered by Fair Isaac's Blaze Advisor business rules management system. State Compliance Decision Manager solution gives business owners greater process control and the ability to quickly update systems based on legislative changes. Its standards-based architecture simplifies development efforts by integrating with existing reporting environments and data.

Integrify Software, Inc. announced the availability of Plug-In Central for its Integrify 4.0 software. Plug-in's are extensions of Integrify's workflow engine that allow for in-process, bidirectional integration with external systems. Available in installed and hosted versions, Integrify offers a Web-based platform to centrally manage user requests from multiple locations, streamline workflow and operations, automate business processes and improve the overall customer experience. The plug-ins available in Plug-In Central allow customers to do tasks such as integrating with existing databases, ERP software and catalogs in order to update internal systems. A plug-in acts as a task in a process, allowing customers to reduce manual data entry when updating systems or pulling information into a process for use in its workflow.

Intellitactics unveiled plans to enhance their comprehensive enterprise security management solution, Intellitactics Security Manager. Security Manager is for enterprises and federal proactive security operations management and complying with regulatory standards. Intellitactics Security Manager Spring 2007 delivers more value, and features automated recognition and analysis of diverse data. This release also strengthens the product with performance enhancements for analysis and reporting for companies with high volumes of events from any data source. Another focal point of this release is features that further simplify the implementation and administration of Security Manager with automated system monitoring. Intellitactics Security Manager Spring 2007 includes dynamic list support, high performance for high-volume environments, configurable taxonomy references, system health monitoring, auto-recognition capabilities for data acquisition, and flexible, simplified asset configuration.

Inxight Software, Inc. announced the general availability of Inxight SmartDiscovery Awareness Server for Oracle Secure Enterprise Search 10g. Oracle Secure Enterprise Search 10g gives users access to enterprise information while enabling users to enforce corporate security policies. The new Inxight SmartDiscovery Awareness Server for Oracle Secure Enterprise Search 10g, powered by Inxight's ThingFinder entity extraction, clusters search results on the fly, enabling users to filter their Oracle Secure Enterprise Search 10g result sets by the people, companies, places, concepts and other information. It augments keyword in context summaries with the "Top Mentions" contained within the full text of the document, making it easier to find relevant documents. In addition, personalized page and term alerts automatically inform users of new information of interest in their Oracle Secure Enterprise Search 10g indexes, open Web or other federated sources.

Maplesoft announced the launch of the Maple-NAG Connector, in partnership with the Numerical Algorithms Group (NAG). With this toolbox, users can combine the modeling, exploration, and application development abilities of Maple, Maplesoft's flagship product, with the power and breadth of NAG numeric routines. As a front end to the NAG C Library, Maple and this toolbox together provide an integrated environment to make code development easier. The toolbox eliminates compile times and provides simplified calling sequences and searchable documentation to the NAG routines. The Maple-NAG Connector also enables the use of NAG routines in combination with Maple's mathematical analysis and visualization tools. 

MEGA International introduced an advanced version of the MEGA ITSM Accelerator that will help enterprises deploy ITIL faster and more efficiently. The IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) is a customizable framework of best practices to improve IT service management, in areas such as change management, configuration management, software control and distribution, release management and help desk. The MEGA ITSM Accelerator is a graphical, ready-to-use repository of ITIL best practices. It enables IT managers to deploy these best practices in a consistent framework, thus reducing project risks and implementation costs. The MEGA ITSM Accelerator enables IT departments to deploy best practices as reusable models in a consistent framework. This new MEGA ITSM Accelerator offers improved presentation and navigation between the ITIL elements. The software is more intuitive and efficient, and the presentation enhancements make it easier to understand the issues and determine where to start an ITIL project.
