When the user clicks on the embedded link, they initiate a support session and the service provider can take control of their computer in a matter of seconds. While other popular remote support packages offer Web site-based remote support solutions, Beyond Remote runs as an application on the user's computer. The program leverages Data Apples' Web services to offer support professionals a direct connection to the remote user's computer in seconds, without backhauling any data. The result of this approach to infrastructure is increased performance and lower prices for service providers.
