Composite Software, Inc. released its newest Composite Application Data Services for SAP Business Information Warehouse (BW). Customers can now bring forward historical information from SAP BW and other existing systems into a service-oriented environment. These reusable services, which leverage Composite's enterprise information integration (EII) technology, help enterprises simplify access to complex packaged applications, and thereby accelerate dashboard, single-view, ad-hoc reporting and service-oriented architecture (SOA) projects.

DataFlux, a provider of data integration and data quality solutions, announced the newest release of its core technology platform, which delivers a faster, more efficient path to creating a "single version of the truth" in corporate data for data governance, compliance and master data management (MDM) initiatives. Key features of Version 8 include new DataFlux Accelerators - prebuilt workflows that extend the use of the DataFlux Data Quality Integration Platform - as well as innovative metadata discovery and data monitoring capabilities.

Fiorano Software Inc, a provider of business integration and SOA-ESB middleware solutions, launched the first Component Gallery to speed the delivery of modular business solutions in a world of distributed computing. The initial rollout of the gallery contains several useful components including connectors to databases, files, sophisticated XSLT transformers, HTTP sources, Web services, various flow components and middleware bridges. Components in the gallery use the JCA (Java Connector Architecture) and JMS (Java Message Service) interfaces, allowing any programmer worldwide to contribute to the gallery.

GemStone Systems, a provider of Enterprise Data Fabric, announced that it will deliver xFire, a distributed data management and virtualization solution, on the IBM BladeCenter Platform. xFire, which consists of the GemFire Enterprise Data Fabric (EDF) on the IBM BladeCenter Platform, is a comprehensive hardware and software solution that enables advanced data access, sharing and distribution from edge applications to core applications in real time, with no data latency.

Harte-Hanks, a direct and targeted marketing company, announced its next major release of the Ci Technology Database (CiTDB, version 10.0), concluding a significant two-year effort to enhance the collection and delivery of key market intelligence across the IT and telecommunications marketplace. The Harte-Hanks CiTDB tracks IT and business data at nearly 700,000 locations in more than 25 countries worldwide. Key content in this year's enhancements include new intelligence regarding businesses' network security and infrastructure, covering firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, network directories and patch deployment.

IBM a systems management portfolio allowing companies to discover, monitor and manage diverse virtual and physical computing resources from a common portal. The IBM Systems Director family allows clients to better manage all of their virtual and physical resources in the data center, working with Tivoli offerings to provide complete cross-enterprise service management. Part of IBM's Systems Director family, the new IBM Virtualization Manager software offering significantly reduces the number of management tools needed to support multiple types of servers.

InterSystems Corporation announced the immediate availability of CACHÉ 2007 with innovative technologies for rapid Web application development. This new version of the CACHÉ post-relational database introduces InterSystems Zen, a framework for building rich platform-independent Web applications faster than ever before. Another new component, called Jalapeño, eliminates object-relational mapping for Java programmers, reducing their development cycles by at least 40 percent.

Jinfonet, a provider of embedded reporting solutions for Java applications, announced the release of JReport 8, a new solution for operational business intelligence (BI). With more than 200 enhancements, JReport 8 allows application developers to build information presentation and analytics directly into Java EE applications and business processes to enable operational BI. JReport 8 works within Java-based applications and becomes a native part of their architectures.

Purisma, a provider of master data management (MDM) solutions, announced Purisma Data Hub version 2, an MDM platform that combines high-end accuracy with speed of deployment and ease of use through an incremental, "solutions-driven" approach. With Purisma Data Hub, companies can implement MDM and customer data integration (CDI) projects to quickly respond to specific business challenges such as creating a single view of a customer, identifying related corporate entities following a merger or acquisition, or identifying up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.

Sybase, Inc., a provider of enterprise infrastructure and mobile software, announced the general availability of the Sybase Data Integration Suite 1.0, a flexible and scalable solution that combines essential data integration techniques including replication, federation, real-time events and unstructured data search with integrated modeling, meta data, development and administration. The suite provides access to diverse data, regardless of format or location, through heterogeneous support of multiple databases, applications and legacy systems.

Sybase iAnywhere announced Afaria 5.5, the next generation of the company's frontline management and security solution. Afaria 5.5 includes new capabilities to initially provision devices over wireless networks, expanded device security functionality, remote control for Windows Mobile devices, and expanded Patch Manager capabilities. Afaria Security Manager has also been updated to include FIPS 140-2 compliant encryption modules, which ensures corporations can safely extend sensitive data to mobile professionals and meet security directives and compliance requirements.

Syncsort Incorporated announced the latest version of DMExpress, which offers a host of new features to help businesses that are bogged down by exponentially growing volumes of data. DMExpress meets the data management and performance challenges companies face in areas such as data warehousing, changed data capture (delta processing), Web log processing, data mining, business intelligence and customer relationship management. Users of DMExpress 3 can expect several enhancements that provide a competitive edge in today's real-time business world.
