Catch Me If You Can

Based on a true story, this flick follows the life of 16-year-old Frank Abagnale, Jr. as he cons millions of dollars by posing as an airline pilot, a doctor, an attorney and a parish prosecutor. Frank, portrayed by Leonardo DiCaprio, is chased by FBI agent Carl Hanratty, played by Tom Hanks, for forging checks.
But with good data management ... Hanks used good ol´ fashioned sleuthing to track DiCaprio´s character, but good data governance would have kept DiCaprio in TSA´s talons before he hopped on that first plane. Granted, the technology wasn´t in place to track Abagnale in the 1960s, but it´s a testament to how much the world has changed as this storyline seems purely fanciful in the 2010s.
