An interesting report indeed. I am a little surprised (but gratified) to see that it is felt that we have arrived at a point where there is considered to be relative maturity both with regards to the adoption of the right technology platforms AND understanding of how to turn the data into useful insight on a scale to justify these investments. Collecting data is one thing, realising insight via Analytics is a further challenge again. Acting on those insights in a way really meaningful to your business - that's another thing entirely. It will be very interesting to track the scale of the realised value over the next few years, however that is measured.
