Razorsight Enters New Markets with Acquisition

July 22, 2009 – Razorsight Corporation, provider of on-demand financial business intelligence and analytics solutions for communications service providers (CSPs), acquired SingleTusk Solutions, a producer of transaction, usage and profitability analytics software. 

SingleTusk’s solution portfolio will be offered under the Razorsight brand, expanding the reach of Razorsight’s analytics software and solutions from finance to include engineering, marketing, sales and procurement, according to a company release.

Specific areas of SingleTusk product coverage include profitability analytics; revenue analysis/assurance; wholesale invoice analytics; CABS verification/analytics; data integrity management; and reporting/data wareshous solutions.

Peter Mottishaw, principal analyst at Analysys Mason was quoted in the release to say that the current economic climate is poised for business optimization processes, particularly business intelligence, revenue assurance and network cost management.

“Razorsight is already a leader in network cost management. By acquiring SingleTusk Solutions, Razorsight strengthens their business optimization position with the ability to support revenue assurance and complex event analysis," Mottishaw said.

SingleTusk Founder Suren Nathan will join Razorsight's executive team as chief technology officer.
