Cloud-based payroll and HR service Paylocity Corp. has unveiled Web Pay 10.1, the company’s flagship product that now boasts increased performance along with several new features, including a redesigned report writer and a new manager self-service portal.

The redesigned report writer provides a user interface with drag-and-drop functionality, additional formatting and output options.

The new manager portal gives HR departments a single view of their employees where they can approve changes, manage outstanding tasks and access employee information.

Web Pay 10.1 also has a new workflow engine that allows managers to initiate pay rate changes and automatically route changes for approval to various levels of the organization.

In addition, the latest release has a new kiosk option for its Web Time function, allowing employees to securely record punches on a computer in a common area.

“The features and functionality developed for this release are a direct result of Paylocity’s commitment to taking action on client feedback,” said Paylocity president and chief executive Steve Beauchamp. “By doing so, we continue to deliver a world class, cloud-based solution that is unmatched in the midmarket.”
