Oracle Revenue, Profit Trail Estimates on Cloud Competition

(Bloomberg) -- Oracle Corp. reported fiscal third- quarter sales and profit that fell short of analysts’ estimates as the software maker faced stiffer competition from Salesforce.com Inc. and rivals selling Internet-based programs.
